DoneHere is a to-do app that sorts your errands by what’s near you. It has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we don’t sell or share your information with anyone.

What stays on your phone

• Your errands — names, notes, checklists, places, opening hours, schedules and reminders.
• Your location. The app uses it on your phone to sort errands by distance, show the lock screen card and remind you when you’re near an errand — including in the background if you allow “Always”. Your location is not sent to us or stored on any server.
• Camera. Used only to read a barcode when you scan groceries. No photos or video are saved or sent.
• Items you add with Siri are saved on your phone until the app adds them to your list.

What is stored on our server

Only if you use Friends and shared errands:

• An anonymous account ID, the first name you type in, and your invite code.
• Who you’ve added as a friend.
• Errands you choose to share: their name, checklist items, and who added, ticked or finished them. Everyone you add to a shared errand can see and change these.

There is no email address or password. This data is stored with Supabase, our database provider.

Other services the app talks to

• Apple Maps search — when you search for a place, your search text and approximate location go to Apple to find results.
• Open Food Facts — when you scan a barcode, the barcode number is looked up to find the product’s name.
• Expo — the app checks for updates, which shares basic device details (such as iOS version) with Expo.

This website

donehere.app has no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies. If you ask to be notified when DoneHere is available, the email address you enter is stored with ActiveCampaign, our email service, and used only to email you about DoneHere. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove your address at any time.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything stored on your phone. Deleting a shared errand you started removes it for everyone. To have your name, friends and shared errands removed from our server, email us.

Children

DoneHere is not directed at children under 13.
